First time blogger

Blogging, blogging ... Always thought this was for people who cannot do their own web site! Well, now I am joining the fray ... Is this what you call peer pressure, or just a need to COMMUNICATE with people instead of just trying to communicate WITH people? What I mean is ... a web site is great, but it is pretty one sided, and that's why I joined the BB. No, not Brigitte Bardott, the Blogging Brigade.

Anyway, my passion is photography, and after being an amateur for close on 21 years now, I finally decided to make it a profession. That's when I started my website www.ultphoto.co.za, the one sided affair.

But, as you know, an affair cannot remain one sided - I need to communicate, need to know what you want, what you need - and how we can assist each other.

Photography is very much a visual medium (wow, what insight), and therefore I will post a number of pictures in this blog. Praise me, tear me apart - I don't care - as long as you communicate!

Help me to build this blog into something really useful. If you need advice on something, please ask (even if it's not photography related). Due to my gray hair, I do possess some wisdom, and what I don't know, I will find out.
